You can also pre-register on the website of the media library; registration will be validated by a librarian the next time you visit the media library.

I cannot connect to the site. What is my password?

For the oldest members (before 01/24/2020): the year of your birth + the first 4 letters of your name + the first letter of your first name, all in capital letters.
For example: 1997MARTP for a MARTIN Paul born in 1997

For members since 01/24/2020: Your birthdate, written in the French way.
For example: 15051957 for someone born on May 15th, 1957

You can also use the "Forgotten password" function. You will need to enter your library card number, then you will receive an email to the address provided when you registered, with a link to copy / paste and a temporary password. We will then ask you to create a new password, more secure than your birthdate.

How to borrow and return documents?

The number of loans is unlimited, except for DVDs where it is limited to 5 per card.

Yo can borrow, return, and renew items at our self-service stations, in all areas of the multimedia library except in local libraries and the Médiabus. Don't hesitate to ask librarians if you don't know how these machines work. On the other hand, a return box next to the main entrance allows you to return your borrowed items when the building is closed.

All our documents can be borrowed except from standar reference books (dictionaries, encyclopedias, etc.) and daily papers.

What is the term of the loan?

How do I renew my checked out items? Why can't I renew?

You can request a renewal of your checked items either by coming to the media library, or through phone, or from the media library's website.
